African-American Haiku

William J. Higginson's article "African-American Haiku" first appeared in Frogpond (journal of the Haiku Society of America), vol. V, no. 2 (1982), under the title "Afro-American Haiku", and was later revised for inclusion in A Haiku Path: The Haiku Society of America, 1969-1988, edited and published by the Haiku Society of America (New York, 1994), pp. 205-209. This page contains scanned copies of the pages from A Haiku Path, with a few typos corrected. This web page may be printed by individuals for personal use. All other rights reserved.
